Easter is coming! I love this holiday. While for many people it comes with sad thoughts of Jesus, for me it's a good tradition that gives another excuse to meet your family and friends, exchange with Easter eggs and cakes, and of course it gives a good opportunity for DIY stuff! This year Easter in Europe and US starts today, while our Russian Easter will be only on 5th of May. So it's a whole month to wait! Well, who says we can't stock up on ideas while waiting? :) With this thought in mind I've searched web and found some nice tips how to dye Easter eggs.
1. Dye using fabric
Cover an egg in a piece of fabric, tie it hard and sink into water mixed with vinegar. Now you need to boil it for 10 minutes, then cool it in cold water and remove fabric.
2. Dye using sticky tape
Dye a boiled egg with some light color. Then place a tape where you'd like for this color to stay put. Then sink egg in another color. Simple!
3. Dye using toothbrush
Dye a boiled egg with light blue color. Then sink a toothbrush into brown dye and sprinkle egg with it.
4. Decorate with paper flowers
Using punch make some flowers of different sizes and colors and just stick them to eggs using glue.
There are many other ways of decorating eggs - you can use stickers, thread or even markers. All you need is use your imagination. Here's some more beautiful pictures to give you an inspiration!
